Two founders. One coordinated team.

Jamal El-Sourani
Co-Founder · Corridor & Business Development
Jamal brings over nine years of business development and client management experience built entirely within Cairo's institutional landscape — across top-tier legal advisory, real estate, and commercial consulting.
His work at established legal advisory firms in Cairo and Dubai has centered on exactly the kind of engagement APIX is built to deliver: identifying growth opportunities within complex institutional relationships, structuring commercial proposals that hold up under scrutiny, and coordinating across stakeholders to move deals from conversation to execution.
He brings the kind of cross-institutional relationship capital that takes years to build and cannot be substituted.
- —Client engagement and corridor relationship management
- —Commercial proposal structuring and negotiation
- —Stakeholder coordination from scoping through to executed agreement
Karim Fayed
Co-Founder · Operations & Community
Karim is an entrepreneurial leader with over 30 years of success building and operating ventures across tourism, F&B, and digital communities. He founded Sea Queen Fleet in the Red Sea (1993–2021) and pioneered cloud kitchen operations in Egypt with Kitchen Three. His three decades operating inside Egyptian tourism position APIX directly inside the inbound-Chinese-tourism opportunity.
In November 2022, Karim founded the AUC Alumni Benefit Community, transforming a networking idea into a thriving ecosystem of over 6,000 members across 57 specialised groups — facilitating over EGP 3 billion in intra-member economic value.
That work is structurally the same skill APIX delivers: matching commercial counterparties at scale, on terms that hold up under scrutiny.
- —Operational execution and delivery discipline
- —Egyptian counterparty network access (incl. the ABC ecosystem)
- —Inbound Chinese tourism mandate alignment
Complementary by design.
Jamal leads on corridor relationships, commercial proposal structuring, and negotiation — the disciplines built across nine years inside Cairo and Dubai's institutional advisory landscape.
Karim leads on operational execution, Egyptian counterparty network access, and the inbound-tourism mandate — the disciplines built across three decades operating Egyptian businesses and four years curating the ABC ecosystem.
Every engagement is scoped jointly, with one named lead and one named second. There is no junior-staff handover after the contract is signed.
Under formation.
We are in the process of formalising a small senior advisory board with corridor-relevant institutional experience. Names will be announced once the relevant engagement letters are signed.
If you have direct corridor experience — former GAFI, TEDA, SCZone, Chinese-corporate Egypt country head, or relevant senior regulatory or commercial role — and would consider an advisory role, please get in touch.
Meet us. One short conversation is the entry point.
Both founders are reachable directly. We respond personally — there is no inbox triage layer in this firm.
